Community & Outreach Programs

We have a number of Outreach Programs that serve various purposes, populations and  projects. Programs include "Bread of Life" Food Bank Distribution Program, "GO" Missions & Outreach to international and national communities in need, Back to School Supplies Distribution, and Sharing Christmas Joy. At Lighthouse we are recognize the needs in our community and provide food, clothing, housing counseling, and benevolence for qualifying residents of Prince George’s County, Montgomery County,  Washington, D.C., and Virginia.

Ananual Thanksgiving Basket Distribution (sponsored by Titus Men of Light)

Each year we distribute Thanksgiving Baskets prepared by our Church Men's Ministry for families and individuals who request a care basket.

Criteria: 1. Must submit request (click here to apply)

2. Membership at Lighthouse is preferred, but not necessary

3. Basket must be picked up, we do not deliver

4. One (1) Basket per household

Criteria for Services:
• Members or congregants in needs
• Hungry family or individual
• Senior Citizen (55+)
• Handicapped or Disabled
• Domestic Problems
• Unemployed
• Referrals from Churches, Social Services, Agencies (i.e. Unemployment or Red Cross)
